ABOUT
Toby Kearton is an award-winning director having graduated from the New York Film Academy, Los Angeles and is a member of Directors UK.
He is best known for the independent short film 'Dissonance' which premiered at the Court Métrage at the Cannes Film Festival in 2018. He is also known for his unique take on historical films with 'The Dust Child' (2018) and 'The Little Picture' (2018) which have won over 20 awards collectively, including Best Director at the Los Angeles Independent Film Festival with the latter garnering over 800k views on YouTube. Recently, he has shown his versatility with the PSA 'Hidden Wounds' (2022), short films 'Pricks' (2023), 'Kamerad' (2024) and documentary short 'Defending Drama' (2024) commenting on the lack of funds in the arts. He has recently directed the pilot episode of the proposed TV series 'Livin' with the Devil' (2024) currently in post-production.
Toby is developing his feature film directorial debut: 'Taboo' set to begin principle photography in 2025.
